Is Jack a bank?
Jack is not a bank, but a payment service provider located in Indonesia. Jack withholds the license from Bank Indonesia under the name of PT Indo Koala Remittance to provide payment services that will cover your business and financial needs. The license allows Jack to provide an all-in-one business finance management system for any business scales, by providing solutions to cross border transfers, corporate card issuance, and other business finance management solutions. In carrying out these activities, Jack is supervised by regulators in Indonesia, namely Bank Indonesia and the Center for Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis.
Are my funds secure?
Your funds are secure with Jack. We hold our customer funds in segregated accounts held at several largest bank institutions in Indonesia, such as BCA, BNI, BRI, Mandiri, Permata, CIMB, and Danamon. We are also supervised and officially licensed as Payment Service Provider by Bank Indonesia. We are regulated by Bank Indonesia regulation: 19/10/PBI/2017 with license no. 13/77/DASP/30 and PPATK regulation: PER-12/1.02/PPATK/06/13. Your safety is our priority.
What are the differences between a virtual and prepaid card?
Both Virtual and Prepaid Cards are powered by Mastercard and enable online transactions by allowing users to input card details directly on merchant websites without a physical form. While the Virtual Card is a credit card where you need to set the spending limit upfront and pay later, the Prepaid Card is our innovative debit card. With the Prepaid Card, you are required to top up the balance before making any purchases.
